Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory & Field Centre

About

SBBOT is an independent conservation charity that works to maintain the local environment and to monitor the changes in bird, butterfly, dragonfly and all other species in the area. We have a modern field centre with accommodation.

Information about us and our range of activities can be found at www.sbbot.org.uk

In 2012 we celebrate 60 years of being a ringing station, 50 years of being an accredited bird observatory and 10 years since the opening of our new modern Field Centre.

Join our celebrations by taking part in our events designed to give an insight into all the aspects of our work, or by visiting us at the Field Centre during our opening hours: 10.00-16.00, 7 days a week.

We are also running a photgraphic competition, Four Season in Kent, which will be shown from 12 August - 2 September. Please visit our website for details of how to enter, or visit the exhibitiion and help us select the winners!
