About

Milton Keynes is one of the most northerly towns in South East England, making up part of Buckinghamshire. It has long since shed off its image as a concrete new town to become one of the most thriving locations in South East England.

Day visitors to Milton Keynes will love the excellent shopping facilities, with over 300 shops, including one of the longest indoor shopping centres in Europe at thecentre:mk. If you’re planning on a longer stay, you will find dozens of attractions in the town and in the nearby countryside villages.

Milton Keynes has also become an extreme sports hotspot. You can water-ski, wakeboard and more on Willen Lake, or head to Xscape for the UK's longest indoor real-snow ski and boarding slope, as well as some of the best indoor climbing facilities in the south.

For more sedate pursuits, Milton Keynes offers one of the best theatres outside of London, excellent free art exhibitions at the Milton Keynes Gallery and dozens of regular free festivals and events.
