These gently sloping sand and shingle beaches have lots of amenities close by and RNLI Lifeguards during the summer months. Other West Sussex seaside award winners include West Witterings.

In East Sussex, Brighton Central, Hove Lawns, Saltdean, Pelham and Marina St Leonards are all 2024 seaside award winners.

Sandown, Seagrove, and Springvale beaches can be found on the Isle of Wight.  Sandown Beach is the most popular with over 5 miles of sand and is only a 10-minute walk from the train station, it is also a blue-flag award holder
