The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is a hub for diverse events, some of which are unique to the county of Berkshire. The Changing of the Guard takes place all year round and can be watched for free in the streets of Windsor. Other major events in Berkshire include the Hungerford Food Festival (October), Truckfest in Newbury (Spring Bank Holiday Weekend), Mapledurham Food & Craft Festival (May Bank Holiday Weekend) and the Reading Festival (August).
