Play your way through nature at Black Park!
Join us at Black Pines Camp for Forest Play! Children can play and explore through activities like the mud kitchen, games, sand pit, bug hunting, water play, balancing and more. Outdoor play is proven to support physical health, confidence, social skills, and early learning—giving little ones space to grow in nature.
Forest Play is aimed at children aged 1-5 years (from when they can walk independently till they are in full-time education). Sessions take place on most Fridays during term time throughout the year and run from 13:00pm - 14:00pm.
The sessions are child-led, with the children being encouraged to choose what they would like to do to help them build on their self-esteem, confidence and independence.
You can casually book the date(s) you'd like to attend, or block book the full half-term (6 sessions) to guarantee a place each week.
We go ahead in all weathers - unless deemed unsafe - so please dress appropriately!
