Betteshanger Park, near Deal in East Kent is an outstanding 250-acre Park and ideal for lovers of nature the outdoors.
Located on the site of the former Betteshanger Colliery, the Park offers miles of traffic free cycling, muddy mountain bike trails, a sensational events programme, awesome play area, woodland, grassland, marshland and wide-ranging, hands-on activities including archery, fossil hunting and den building.
Betteshanger Park can be easily reached by the A258 and has ample on-site parking. Entrance to the Park is free. However, there is a charge for parking and special events.
Betteshanger is changing! The new £30 million scheme will include a new state-of-the-art Visitor Centre with conference facilities, café/restaurant, Green Energy Centre, Cycle Centre, outdoor play equipment and Kent Mining Museum.
If you come by car there is plenty of on-site parking near the Visitor Centre.
