Richborough Roman Fort

About

The Romans started their conquest here at Richborough Roman Fort in AD 43. Visitors can explore the ruins of a thriving Roman trading hub which was the entrance to Roman Britain.
Climb to the top of a replica Roman getaway and enjoy stunning panoramic views. Visit the recently refurbished museum and discover unique Roman artefacts. See the remains of the amphitheatre that once entertained Romans with gladiator fights and keep the little ones entertained with a time-travel themed kids’ trail.
