Lizzy Farmer will be hosting a Wild Food Foraging day here at Heath Farm on Saturday 18th May, Saturday 15th June and Thursday 4th July. Come and learn to identify wild foods on the Heath Farm estate. There's 70 acres of beautiful woodland and meadow to explore. Lizzy will guide you through the process of foraging for seasonal wild foods and also how to prepare and cook them. Lizzy is an experienced forager who's a member of the Association of Foragers and has a level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and is fully insured and first aid trained.
The session starts at 10am and will run through to 1pm and will include a wild picnic set in a beautiful clearing with a parachute canopy. After lunch participants are welcome to take a swim in the spring fed lake, there's also a woodland shower unit with hot water available for after.
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early. At the foot of the driveway you'll see event parking on the right hand side under the trees where you'll be greeted by Lizzy. Sat nav will direct you straight to Heath Farm with the postcode – OX7 4BN
