Join us at Whitchurch Silk Mill for our second Weftival event, where you can meet a community of textile and weaving professionals and learn all about the different types of weaving and textiles through talks, demonstrations, production tours, weaving exhibition and pre-bookable workshops on Friday 5 & Saturday 6 July 2024, from 10.30am – 4pm Friday: Talks from Special Guests: Janet Phillips, Hand Weaver, Fabric Designer and Author.
More to be announced soon… Coldharbour Mill Workshops All Things Raffia Saturday: Small Craft Fair Showcasing Textiles makers and weavers. They will all be available to talk about there practices the reason they love their particular craft. Items will also be available to purchase.
Mac and Weave by Char Felt things Children's Craft Children's crafts area for the those aimed 10 and younger to enjoy, this area will be run by our fabulous Volunteer team at Whitchurch Silk Mill Workshops Tabby and Tweed Elka Textiles Both Days: Workshops - Silkewoman Whitchurch Silk Mill Demonstrations - Warping demos by Whitchurch Silk Mill.
