Hawk Conservancy Trust

About

The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a full day out for the whole family where you can get close to some of the world’s most incredible birds of prey! Come see our brilliant birds at some of the most spectacular flying displays in the UK, changing with the seasons so you’ll experience something new every time you visit. Watch in wonder as our birds soar across the skies and through the trees, giving you and the family a chance to see owls, vultures, and eagles up close.

BRAND NEW for summer 2025 – A new flying display lands at the Hawk Conservancy Trust Saturday 5 April! Witness Woodland Wonders and feel even more connected to nature as owls, and more, fly close. Plus, the woodland itself will spring to life around you with new developments and special effects that truly immerse you in this special space.

In between the three daily flying displays, there are plenty of activities to keep you and the children entertained, including tractor rides (weekends and school holidays only), a nest-building activity, talks, and more! Get the children outside and immersed in nature as they explore our 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow on our two nature trails: Vulture Voyagers and a Tree Trail.

As a conservation charity with a mission to conserve birds of prey, your visit goes towards our vital conservation work that takes place both here in the UK and overseas. Consistently ranked as TOP on things to do in Hampshire on Trip Advisor’s traveller’s ranking and with over 3000 five-star reviews, you can be confident of a fabulous day out.

Plus, there’s more! Make your visit to the Trust even more exciting with our VIP ‘Meet the Burrowers’ Encounter! In the fascinating and immersive aviary, you can come face to face with the Trust’s team of cute and curious Burrowing Owls.

For your nature-loving little ones who want to learn more and get closer to the birds, there are Children’s Owl Experiences, Junior Bird Team Experiences and Family Experiences, all of which are held on specific dates and offer an extraordinary memory to cherish forever.
