About

Free-to-Attend Mini-Festival Ticket to Ryde Returns to Ryde Seafront for the August Bank Holiday weekend

Taking place for the eleventh year running during the annual International Scooter Rally, this weekend’s Ticket to Ryde provides the ideal opportunity to be entertained by the very best Island bands, featuring a massive 60s playlist for scooter fans.

The Island’s favourite free-to-attend mini festival will be making a triumphant return on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August and promises a bumper weekend of live music, local traders, food stalls, kids activities, and much more. The event aims to bring together the community while supporting the MS Society Isle of Wight.

There aren’t many things you can do for free these days but Ticket to Ryde provides an opportunity to enjoy an impressive line-up of acts including Scooted & Booted Sound System – Reggae, Ska and 2 Tone Specialist, Real Deadringer – The Meat Loaf Show, Heidi Cullerne, It’s Not a Phase Mom!, Emellia, Island Vibe, SheBop, Hashtag, High School Never Ends, Steve Love’s Island Songs and more. With such diverse talent on display, there’s something for everyone.

Island traders will be showcasing their products and services, offering a unique opportunity to discover and support the local economy. Food stalls will cater to all pallets and dietary requirements, serving a wide variety of delicious hot food options and refreshing beverages throughout the weekend. There will be a real ale bar courtesy of Island Ales and a selection of traditional market traders.

On-stage proceedings start at 11:30am through until 8pm both days. Market stalls and food vendors open from 10am each morning.

BBC Radio Solent will be broadcasting live from Ticket to Ryde between 10am and 2pm on Saturday.

Ticket to Ryde aims to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festivities. As a community-driven event, it also makes a positive impact by raising funds for the MS Society Isle of Wight. By attending this event, participants will not only have a fantastic time but also contribute to supporting Island individuals and families affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

The August Bank Holiday weekend will be an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to come together, celebrate, and enjoy the vibrant spirit of Ryde. Admission to Ticket to Ryde is free, thanks to the generous support of organisers Jack Up Events working in conjunction with Ryde Town Council.
