About

Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre - For The Island’s Ultimate Bird of Prey Experience!

See Falcons, Hawks, Owls, and Vultures!

The friendly team at Haven Falconry are dedicated and skilled falconers who have a passion for birds of prey with experience back over 45yrs! Our ethos is education through fun!  Our newly built dedicated Bird of Prey Centre houses the largest collection of birds on the Isle of Wight, to include over 50 birds of 22 different species.

See also the Pets Corner, Ferret Skywalk and the quirky Insect Hotel! There is also a Reptile and Insect House. We offer pet handling and ferret walking opportunities!

Haven Falconry is renowned for the quality of their interactive flying displays and the realistic prices of our hands-on experiences to include:

*Owl Encounter - A must for all Owl lovers! From the smallest to the largest, a truly magical experience for all.

The Bird of Prey Experience - Enjoy a hands-on close encounter with some of our magnificent birds. Learn about their characteristics, speed and hunting habits, whilst flying birds to your fist.

Hawk Walks - Feeling more energetic? Experience the 'Sport of Kings' and feel the unique bond and trust between man and hawk whilst enjoying a wonderful walk in our local countryside with our Harris Hawks flying to and from your fist. On a Hawk Walk you can experience hands-on flying while walking in the Havenstreet countryside.

All our falconry activities with the birds of prey are hands-on and interactive, so you experience the thrill of flying and/or handling the birds.

Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre is open every day except Christmas Day.

Our private 'Experience' sessions are bookable in advance by appointment, please phone or email for enquiries and bookings.

We can often accommodate last minute bookings.
