The Discovery Centre museum tells the history of Gosport, whilst those interested in fossils will enjoy the Geology Gallery. The Discovery Centre hosts the town’s library, there is an attractive café, comfortable seating and a range of newspapers and magazines to read.

Approaching from the M27 or A27, follow signs for Gosport A32 and remain on this road. Nearer the Town Centre follow South Street where there is a long stay car park. Gosport High Street is pedestrian area.
From Fareham Bus Station take the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route from Fareham to Gosport – E1 & E2. Although Gosport doesn’t have its down train station, it is served by both Portsmouth Harbour train station via a short crossing on the ferry and Fareham train station. The Gosport Ferry provides a quick and convenient way to get from Portsmouth to Gosport. The Hard Bus Intercharge is adjacent to the ferry terminal and train station.
