This September, get ready for an unforgettable weekend of fun and adventure at the Wight Buggin' Family-Friendly Camp Out! From Friday, September 13th to Sunday, September 15th, the picturesque Retro Staycations site on the Isle of Wight will transform into a vibrant haven for families and VW enthusiasts seeking a perfect getaway.
Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of the Isle of Wight, Retro Staycations offers the ideal setting for a weekend filled with exciting activities, delicious food, and live music entertainment. Wight Buggin’ promises to be a spectacular chilled-out event with something for everyone, ensuring a celebration of campervan culture and a memorable experience for all ages.
Explore a diverse range of local traders offering freshly cooked hot food that caters to all tastes. There will also be sweet treats including Island-made ice creams, churros and cheesecakes.
Children and adults alike can enjoy the thrill of a bouncy castle and test their skills on the exciting rodeo bull. Parents can relax knowing the kids are in a safe and friendly environment.
Island Ales will be providing a licensed bar, offering a selection of local beers, ciders, and premium ales. It’s the perfect end of season to unwind and socialise with fellow campers.
Retro Staycation’s iconic Airstream stage will feature live performances from some of the Isle of Wight’s best musical acts. Enjoy an eclectic mix of music that will keep you entertained throughout the weekend.
Browse through a variety of stalls selling an array of local independents, camper essentials, and artisan crafts, unique, locally made products, crafts, and more.
With its friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, Wight Buggin’ is designed to be a safe and enjoyable experience for families. Whether you’re looking to camp under the stars or just visit for the day to soak up the atmosphere and survey the superb variety of vans and vehicles of interest, there’s plenty of fun to be had.
Tickets for the Wight Buggin’ Family-Friendly Camp Out are priced at just £45 for a 7x7m grass pitch for a campervan/tent/caravan and up to 5 people – Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as preferred. Day admission is available for a car/van and up to 5 people, plus vehicles of interest non-camping for just £10 per day on the Saturday and Sunday. If you plan to arrive on foot, day entry just £5 per adult and £1 per child.

Everybody’s welcome whether you have a campervan, caravan or tent. Non-VW camping is available too! A weekend ticket includes access to campsite and festival Friday - Monday, live music, entertainment and on-site facilities.
