UK Electric Bikes

About

Welcome to UK Electric Bike Tours - whether it’s one of our scheduled tours or a self-guided electric bike hire, we visit many of Kent’s great attractions including historic castles, churches, pretty market towns and some of Kent’s cycle trails.

One of the popular trips is around the Weald visiting farms that grow hops or try our vineyard tour around Kent’s award winning and oldest vineyard. In 2014 launched our Charles Dickens trail and our 1st World War Poets trail following history around Kent.

If self-guided, we can also give advice on where to go, where to eat and can provide maps. We have even sorted out a number of local pubs where you can recharge your batteries. In addition we can recommend places to stay at a selectionof B&Bs, hotels, self-catering houses and campsites.

Based in the centre of Kent, our location is ideal for getting anywhere. Our electric bikes are comfortable, reliabile and have a large battery range. If you have never used an electric bike before, you use it exactly the same way as a pedal bike. The difference is that when you pedal, the motor kicks in to assist you, great for any hills. Alternatively you can switch the motor off and ride it like a conventional bike.

You can contact us on 015 8089 2259 or 0789 055 429.

Road Directions

If coming from the M20 motorway, we are approximately 15 minutes from junction 8. As you come off the motorway take signs towards Leeds Castle. At the roundabout follow the B2163 and go past the Castle entrance and after 2.5 miles you come to a crossroads with the plough pub on the right. Turn left to Headcorn and follow the A274 through Sutton Valence, down a steep hill.

After a short distance (about 1 mile), with a garage on the left, turn right to Staplehurst (New Barn Lane) After 1.5 miles you will see Boarden Lane on the left with a large Electric Bike Centre Sign on the right. Follow the lane down to the bottom.

Public Transport Directions

Located in mid Kent, near Maidstone, we are close to Headcorn and Staplehurst train stations and we can arrange pick up or can drop bikes off at the station.
