April Steam Up at The Brickworks Museum
Join us for the first Steam Up event of the year. April 28 11am - 4pm
Enjoy the wonderful sights and sounds of our historic courtyard full of traction engines in steam, the working blacksmith and "steam" activities.
Inside learn the history of brick making and the lives of the people who made them and see the Victorian Brickwork machinery in full steam. Take in fascinating room reconstructions, glimpsing life from the 1900s to 1970s, play vintage penny arcade machines, see model railway layouts, shop at craft and gift stalls and for fascinating local history books.
Don't forget, for a nominal charge you can experience the fun of riding the miniature railway.
After all the action you can relax in our café. Children will love the indoor brick activity area and the outdoor play space.
