This is an unforgettable authentic flamenco performance by Seville's elegant and accomplished dancer Rebeca Ortega. She is joined by the UK's leading flamenco guitarist Ramón Ruiz and accompanied by the deeply soulful voice of Carlos Lobo also from Seville.

From the deepest roots of flamenco, this theatrically spun dance show is born from the tradition of flamenco culture, shaped by the luminosity of the alegrías, the depth of the taranto and seguiriya, the rhythms of the tangos and bulerías and the jondura of the soleá and the farruca.
Raíces is a finalist piece in the Madroño Young Dance Creators Contest. In 2023, Rebeca Ortega's company has taken it to stages throughout Europe, as well as to places as far away as China, Gabon, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Trinidad and Tobago.
