Bray Lake Watersports has been running for over 40 years and offers a variety of water sports: Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Windsurfing, Kayaking, Dinghy Sailing and Open Water Swimming. The centre is open 7 days a week and offers equipment hire, demo kit, own equipment launches, children’s holiday courses, private / group tuition, club training sessions and excursions. The centre welcomes individuals, families, corporate and school groups. They also host birthday & hen / stag parties.
Equipment hire is available 7 days a week and is charged on an hourly rate with discounts available for 2-hour sessions. There are a range of stand-up paddleboards, single and double sit on top kayaks, open canoes, windsurfing and dinghy sailing equipment available.
Bray Lake has a café offering barista style coffee, hot and cold food and ice-creams. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating overlooking the lake.
Bray Lake Watersports has a surf style club house and shop selling everything from apparel to equipment. They offer regular events that usually end in a BBQ. For those looking to use the facilities on a regular basis there are some fantastic membership packages.
Bray Lake’s courses are National Governing Body recognised with courses and qualifications for children and adults, from complete beginner to instructor level. Visit the website for more information.
The Centre is located near to Windsor and Maidenhead, close to junctions for M4, M25 and M40 just west of London.
Bray Lake from M4 (London) •Leave the M4 at junction 6 and follow the A355 towards Windsor •Take the first turning off the dual carriageway and at the roundabout take the third exit (A308 Maidenhead) •At the next two roundabouts continue straight on A308. Continue until you reach the BP petrol station on the left. •Just beyond the petrol station, turn right onto Monkey Island Lane. This is sign-posted with Watersports Centre. •Continue along the road past Bray Marina (on right) and you will come to our entrance on the left.
Bray Lake from M4 (Reading) •Leave the M4 at junction 8/9 and take the A308 towards Maidenhead and Windsor. •At the roundabout take the third exit (A308 Windsor). •Continue down the A308 under the M4 and straight across mini roundabout for 1 mile on left (just before the 50 speed limit signs) turn onto Monkey Island Lane, sign posted water sports centre. •Follow the road past Bray Marina (on right) and you will come to our entrance on the left.
