Learn more about the Lorenz cipher and the machine designed to break it – Colossus – as we celebrate 80 years since the first Colossus was built.
Activities include:
- Communicating in the language of computers.
- Finding and creating patterns.
- Learning about teleprinter code and having a go at punching your own.
- Breaking codes and writing your own to test your friends and family!
These sessions are suitable for families with children aged 7-14, accompanied by an adult.
