Did you know the first large-scale electronic computer was designed and built for Bletchley Park?

Learn more about the Lorenz cipher and the machine designed to break it – Colossus –  as we celebrate 80 years since the first Colossus was built.

Activities include:

Communicate in the language of computers.

Find and create patterns.

Learn about teleprinter code and have a go at punching your own.

Break the codes and try writing your own to test your friends and family!

These sessions are suitable for families with children aged 7-14, accompanied by an adult.

Drop into Room 1, Block E Learning Centre any time between 11.00 and 15.30, (the last admission to the session is 15.00).
