About

The UK's only chilli and gin festival is back in Portsmouth for the bank holiday weekend, on 4 and 5 May.

Expect delicious gins, fiery chillies and plenty of entertainment over the two-day event. There will be live music, featuring 90s and 00s dance classics on the Saturday, followed by indie and live bands on the Sunday. Other activities include: chilli-eating competitions, cocktail masterclasses, axe throwing, giant jenga, children's face painting, chilli tasting, gin samples and more. There's also a fully stocked bar and food stalls offering cuisine from around the world - as well as gift and homeware vendors.

Everything will run all day, from open to close - with the new extended hours for 2024 of 12pm to 8pm.

The event is more than just a chilli festival; it's a passionate, family-founded business dedicated to igniting the senses through the fusion of spice, spirits, and community. What started as a humble vision has blossomed into an annual celebration that brings flavour enthusiasts, local artisans, and spirited individuals from around the region.
