Eastney Beam Engine

About

Please note: Eastney Gas Engine House is open in 2021 on Wednesday mornings and the last Sunday of each month. The larger Beam Engine House is currently closed until further notice. Please check back for updates on when the museum is able to re-open, which will be shared as soon as dates are confirmed.

Visit the impressive Victorian buildings, which showcase the marvels of Victorian engineering. Get up close to some impressive machines – some of which date back to 1887 – and have been restored to their original condition.
