Visit us in Tilford village in the Surrey Hills and discover our ancient heritage and inspiring collection of rural machinery, artefacts and objects. Something for all ages to explore.
The museum is set over 15 acres of garden and woodland, and the collection includes over 40,000 rural objects and heritage buildings for the visitor to enjoy. Take a lesson in the Victorian school room, see how sports equipment has changed over time in the cricket pavilion and experience local history in Deeks cycle shop. Explore workshops, a working forge, tractors, fire engines, a tree trail and much more.
A1950's village playground provides entertainment for children as does a preserved narrow gauge light railway which is operated on specific days by OKLR. Go to www.oklr.org for train ride dates and details.
