Get ready for an enchanting family-friendly adventure at Birdworld, where visitors of all ages can embark on a delightful journey of discovery and fun! Home to over 2,000 feathered friends eagerly waiting to introduce you to their captivating lives, this attraction nestled just outside Farnham on the Hampshire-Surrey border offers exciting experiences for everyone. 

The real stars of Birdworld are its incredible bird exhibits, from the beloved Penguin Beach with graceful penguins gliding and waddling in their picturesque habitat to the immersive Seashore Walk aviary. Don't miss other must-see exhibits like Flamingo Cove and Terry Pratchett's Owl Parliament. With 26 acres of gardens, you will be sure to find serenity among our trees.

Birdworld Food & Drink
Our recently refurbished cafe now serves Costa Coffee and is your one stop shop for all things food and drink. We serve a selection of delicious sandwiches, hot paninis, jacket potatoes, and snacks throughout the day.

Birdworld Conservation
Birdworld is home to some of the world’s rarest birds and 40% of the species that live at the park are threatened with extinction. Birdworld is a BIAZA accredited zoo, part of a network of zoos across the country that provide high standards of animal welfare, education, research and conservation.  

Birdworld is helping to preserve the world’s bird population, through its breeding and conservation projects.

Road Directions

Reach Birdworld by following the brown and white cockatoo road signs. We are located 2 miles south of Farnham on the A325, well signposted from the M3 junction 4. Easily accessible from the M25.

Public Transport Directions

The South Western Railway service from London Waterloo to Alton, stops at Aldershot, Farnham and Bentley. From Farnham or Aldershot Train Station, visitors can take the Stagecoach Bus Service to directly outside Birdworld.
