Farnham Maltings is a creative organisation that works with artists and communities to encourage people to make, see and enjoy the best art possible. Farnham Maltings offers a varied programme including new and exciting theatre, top comedy, craft workshops & festivals, cinema, music and the ever popular monthly market.

Set in the heart of Farnham town centre, this collection of buildings host a wide range of crafts makers including printers and picture framers together with 6 resident theatre and dance companies who produce and tour work regionally, nationally and internationally.  Formerly used as a tannery and brewery, the Grade II listed builidngs overlook the River Wey and include the 410 seat Grand Hall.

Farnham is a designated craft town and was awarded World City of Craft in 2020.  Located in the beautiful Surrey Hills, the Maltings has helped to preserve Farnham's rich craft tradition by supporting makers of all kinds to thrive. Look out for the annual programme of festivals and events including a festival of crafts (October), monthly malting markets (first Saturday of every month) and an annual Christmas fair (November), which bring hundreds of visitors to browse and pick up their special Christmas gifts.
