Museum of Farnham, Surrey

About

An award-winning museum with imaginative displays interpreting the history of the Farnham area. Displays feature aspects of town and country life, transport and personalities including radical reformer and founder of Hansard, William Cobbett. Racing hero Mike Hawthorn, Britain's first World Motor Racing Champion, is also featured.

Willmer House is a magnificent C18th town house little altered since 1718 with a delightful walled garden, ideal for family picnics. The museum runs a series of events and activities aimed adults and children alike.

The museum holds three major exhibitions per year which aim to please and delight, from artistic collaborations to exhibitions designed for children and families.
