Whitchurch Silk Mill is delighted to announce the return of its Regency Picnic on Saturday 6 June 2026, inviting visitors to step into a world of timeless charm on the tranquil banks of the River Test. Hosted by Laughing with Lizzie, this much-anticipated outdoor event promises an afternoon of Regency-inspired crafts, heritage experiences and elegant summer celebration.

Join us for a glorious afternoon of picnicking, beverages, and a range of rare Regency inspired crafts and delights. Bring your parasol and picnic blanket along to Whitchurch Silk and, for those who wish, promenade in Regency dress while enjoying a programme of demonstrations, workshops and performances throughout the afternoon.

Regency picnic tickets include:-

  • 3pm Drink on arrival
  • 3pm Stilt walker in Regency dress
  • 4.30pm Picnic on the lawn (food provided)
  • 5pm Regency performance

This is an outdoor event but will be undercover where possible.
