About

Join us for our first weaving festival! Discover more about the Mill's heritage of weaving, with workshops and demonstrations across the weekend.

A weekend packed with all things weaving, come and experience Whitchurch Silk Mill like never before! With guided tours, demonstrations and workshops, there will be plenty of entertainment for weaving fans of all ages.

We will be joined by members from Hampshire Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers demonstrating different types of weaving, offering plenty of chances to have a go. We will also be pleased to exhibit work made by members of the Grange at Bookham, who have used some of our silk to create embroidered works of art.

In addition to the festival, there will be a number of bookable workshops for adults that include festival admission.

This event is raising funds for preserving living weaving heritage at Whitchurch Silk Mill.
