Thinking Thursdays is a weekday initiative from Southampton City Council Cultural Services, exploring the rich history and heritage of the town. Each session is different, but it could be a talk, tour or something entirely different!
Join guide and historian Godfrey Collyer for this special walk exploring the story of the Mayflower. Walk in the footsteps of America's Founders who arrived in Southampton in 1620 visiting its markets to stock up on food for the long and dangerous voyage across the Atlantic. It is also a tale of fish, dodgy boat builders, religious dissent and an epic voyage of adventure.
