Join us at Leeds Castle for our medieval jousting event this May bank holiday for an exhilarating display of combat and action, elegant and unusual equestrian, and medieval living and feasting.
Gasp as lances crash, cheer for your champion, and watch as England, France, and Norway battle for the coveted cup—and the queen’s favour. If you’re looking for things to do in Kent with a dramatic twist, we’ll see you in the crowd.
In true jousting event tradition, victory isn’t guaranteed by skill alone. If the queen deems a knight unworthy, she may choose another. Armor, charm, and honor all play their part. You just need to provide the applause.
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a tri-nation competition, welcoming Norway and a new French team for the first time. Adding to the excitement, each team will feature a Female Jouster.
Catch the action twice daily at 1 PM & 3:30 PM and witness the drama unfold. If you’re enjoy seeing it even the once on the Saturday, you’ll want to come back on the Sunday and Monday too. An unmissable event for your bank holiday planning.
This fun packed jousting event is included with your Leeds Castle admission. Book online in advance for the best price!
