From Saturday 27th July to Friday 30th August, you can enjoy a fun packed summer bonanza guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained, come rain or shine at Tapnell Farm Park.
As well as our award-winning farm play (bouncy pillows, sledge slides, pedal go-karts, straw bale fun) and adorable animals to meet and greet (wallabies, meerkats, goats, donkeys, pigs, alpacas), there are lots of additional daily activities and events to look forward to!
Daily from 27th July – 30th August:
• Maize Maze: Twist, run, turn and get lost among the Maize until you navigate your way out!
• Barn Time: Meet some small animals up close, observe enrichment activities and get the opportunity to ask the keepers questions about them!
• Paddock Goat Feed: Help feed the goats and find out more about their personalities.
• Wallaby & Meerkat Walks & Talks: Join the keepers feeding the friendly wallabies and get to know more about them and their Meerkat neighbours!
• Bugs & Beasties Meet & Greet: Meet and greet the not so furry farm friends in the bugs and beasties area.
Mondays – Fridays:
• Falconry Displays: Marvel as these beautiful birds swoop and dive over your head and get to know more about them from their handlers.
• Trotter Training: Observe the Kune Kune Pig’s skills while they’re guided round their bespoke agility course and show off their party tricks with the dynamic Team Tapnell hosts!
• Tapnell Olympics: From traditional favourites like egg and spoon races and sack races to quirky contests like welly wanging and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
• Ferret Racing: Watch these sleek and agile creatures showcase their lightning-fast speed and playful antics.
• Craft workshops and much more!
