Enjoy this years annual Deal Music and Arts Festival which takes over the town of Deal in Kent for ten days.
The extensive program of events includes the fantastic free Town Takeover on the 5th July which will see pop up music in some surprising places, followed by the rousing Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines at the Deal Bandstand on the 6th July which is also free.
This event is suitable for all ages and includes:-
Submerged - an immersive performance in the basement of Deal Castle with dance, visuals and music
The Smeds and the Smoos dance workshop inspired by Julia Donaldson’s book
Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with Changeling Theatre
Pilgrimage – Sound Installation a new immersive 360° sound installation
Pirie Poke – Human Croquet - A breathtaking performance by this Czech circus duo

The event which has brought the best in the arts to East Kent for over 40 years is bigger then ever, and continues to welcome musicians, fine actors and distinguished writers to Deal, Walmer, Sandwich and Dover.
