D-Day Commemorative Beacon Lighting – Christchurch Quay
Christchurch
Christchurch
On Thursday, June 6th, head along to Chirstchurch Quay and the Bandstand between 6pm and 10pm for a commemorative beacon lighting event. This community-focused event will bring together local schools, businesses, organisations and charities to remember and celebrate Christchurch’s contribution to the war effort, with live music, a history hub and entertainment there’s lots going on for everyone young and old.
As part of the event it will also be National Fish and Chip Day, so any dine-in venues will be making the most of this theme.
