Tom’s Eco Lodge Glamping at Tapnell Farm on The Isle of Wight is a short drive or scenic ride from the idyllic port of Yarmouth. Tom’s Eco Lodge takes Glamping to the next level with 5 beautiful Safari Tents, 2 Wooden Cabins, 2 Modulogs and 2 Pods – each nestled away in the glorious surroundings of Tapnell Farm.
If Glamping is not for you why not stay in one of our Cottages or book Tapnell Manor for a family or group gathering. Stunning sea views, sandy beaches, space to roam and so much to do, creates the perfect place to be. Perfect for an adventurous or relaxing family holiday, group get together, party or even romantic hideaway. No need to venture far – we have our very own Cow Co restaurant on the Farm producing beef and dairy brilliance!
We also have Tapnell Farm Park – one of the biggest indoor attractions on the island, gift shop, cafe, adventure activities, clay pigeon shooting and much more.
The wonderful Team at Tapnell farm are always keen to share their knowledge and passion for the countryside with you. Come rain or shine, you can ask as many questions as you like and get the best inside knowledge and hidden gems that need to be explored! We have also re-homed a number of battery hens at the farm who are now clucking around happily – fat, fluffy and free! You are welcome to collect eggs each morning, fresh and delicious ex-battery free range! Pay a visit to see them camping in their very own hen houses!
The Tents are set into Tapnell spinney, at the heart of Tapnell Farm. The woodland (spinney) gives the lodges shelter from the prevailing south-west wind, while the site has panoramic views of sea and rural landscape. On clear evenings the sunset is spectacular and absence of light pollution means the sky is dense with stars.
Enjoy delicious meals together, cooked on your own log burning range cooker, BBQ, camp fire or communal pizza oven. Really comfy beds with electric blankets offer a peaceful nights rest and your own private shower and bathroom add home comfort and privacy. There is also electricity for lighting and plug sockets to charge your phone.
Each Safari Tent has:
