Wightlink Ferries

About

Wightlink is the largest ferry operator to the Isle of Wight, operating round the clock, 365 days a year, and offering a choice of three routes across the Solent.

Car ferries operate between Portsmouth and Fishbourne on the east of the Island. The Portsmouth terminal is well located and easy to find and the crossing takes around 40 minutes. If travelling from the west of the country, a second car ferry route operates between Lymington, in the New Forest, and Yarmouth on the west side of the Island, taking around 30 minutes. Both routes have sailings every half hour at peak times.

A catamaran service for foot passengers only, operates between Portsmouth Harbour and Ryde Pier Head in around 22 minutes. Sailings are every half hour peak times and most connect with trains at Portsmouth Harbour Station and Ryde Pier Head.

More information about Wightlink and the Isle of Wight can be found by visiting their website, www.wightlink.co.uk or by calling 0871 376 1000.
