The Rare Breeds Centre
Set in 100 acres of beautiful countryside, the Rare Breeds Centre offers fun and adventure for all the family.
We have daily Meet the Animals sessions, where the children can pet our friendly animals and ask our staff questions and many more animals to learn about around the farm and many are rare breeds. Don’t miss our Birds of Prey display every day at 2.30 pm.
There are lots of play areas for the kids to let off steam and a woodland assault course where all the family can test their agility, plus a tube maze, zip wire and hill fort. If you a feeling more energetic take the woodland walk, where you can build a den and find The Green Man of the Woods totem pole at the Secret Lake. Just around the corner you will find our new Giant Snake to balance and climb on. If walking is not for you, why not take a tractor ride and the driver will drop you off at the top of the farm!
In season we have our hilarious, famous pig racing plus the exotic butterflies in their beautiful walk-through tunnel.
Catering:
You can visit our restaurant without entering the farm, where we sell delicious hot and cold food and drinks at very reasonable prices. There are many areas where you are welcome to picnic.
