Step into the magic of Christmas at the Rare Breeds Centre and make memories to treasure all season long!
Meet Father Christmas and his cheerful team of elves
Our festive celebrations on the farm, begin on Saturday 28th November and run every weekend right up to Christmas. The magic continues from Saturday 19th December to Wednesday 23rd December, giving families plenty of chances to squeeze in those final, truly special visits before the big day.
Rare Breeds Christmas: a farm full of festive cheer
As December approaches, Santa's elves arrive early to sprinkle their festive magic across the farm. Twinkling lights, cosy decorations and seasonal cheer transform every corner into a sparkling winter wonderland filled with warmth, wonder and excitement.
Enjoy our brand new winter wonderland walkthrough and Christmas show!
Your festive adventure begins as a cheerful elf greets you and leads you down our enchanting winter wonderland walkway. At the end of the journey, little ones can test their aim with some festive fabric snowball throwing before stepping into our Cattle Barn, beautifully transformed into a glittering Christmas haven.
Families can then relax and enjoy a heart-warming festive show starring Father Christmas, his joyful team of elves, and a delightful craft activity where children can create a special Christmas keepsake. Each child will also receive a beautiful gift from Santa himself, a truly magical moment to remember.
Don't forget to visit the Children's Barn, which will be dressed to impress with glowing lights and a stunning Christmas tree, the perfect backdrop for festive photos and magical moments together.
Enjoy festive treats in our Granary Restaurant
Make sure to visit our Granary Restaurant, for a festive treat, with homemade Christmas themed cakes, a delicious selection of Costa Coffee winter drinks and more!
SEN Christmas show sessions available too
We are also offering several SEN-friendly Christmas show sessions, designed to provide a more relaxed experience. These sessions have fewer visitors and a quieter atmosphere, making them ideal for those who may benefit from a calmer environment. For guests who may find the winter wonderland walkthrough overwhelming, calmer alternative routes to the show seating area are available.
Tickets are on sale now!
Be an early bird and book your tickets now! You can now book your tickets for both our standard and SEN grotto sessions. Don't miss out on a truly magical Christmas experience at the farm!
