Featuring fantastic murals, colourful representations, and quirky characters street art lovers have brought an incredible artistic vibe and feel to Brighton.
Street Art areas
The North Laine is a creative hub with artworks on most of the streets and even over the cable boxes. Work by The Postman (a Brighton based street art duo, who are behind the epic paste-ups of Marylin Monroe and Basquiat) can be spotted across the city with most of their work being found in Kemptown, London Road and Elder Place. Don't miss the chance to visit to the Unbarred Tap Room, Elder Place, home to an ever-changing mixture of artworks, or to take a stroll through Hanningtons Lane, or an amble up Sydney Street, Trafalgar Street or to the Open Market, to see various street art murals along the way.
Please note that while Brighton & Hove celebrate the talent and creativity of street art they do not support or condone 'tagging'. If you see any tagging or offensive graffiti, then please report it to Brighton & Hove City Council so that it can be removed.
Discover the North Laine, Kempton, Elder Place, Sydney Street, Trafalgar Street, Hanningtons Lane and the Open Market to name but a few.
