Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is located in the Royal Pavilion garden, at the heart of the city’s cultural quarter. Its diverse collections bring together the arts and history to tell stories about the city and the world we live in. Brighton Museum also hosts a programme of temporary exhibitions and events.

Royal Museum Annual Pass
This pass is ideal for those making a visit to just one of our museum

*We welcome all unaccompanied children aged 14 and over to all our museums. Children under the age of 14 will need to be accompanied by a person aged over 16.

Multi Attraction Annual Pass

If you live in Brighton & Hove or are a regular visitor, this pass will provide you with unlimited access to our museums for a year. Admission to the Bowie / MacCormack exhibition is not included in these tickets.

From the Old Steine go up North Street, turn right into Royal Pavilion gardens through the Indian Gate - walk through the gardens - museum entrance is at the north west corner.

Public Transport Directions

Nearest station: Brighton is 1 mile - 15 minute walk.Buses stop at the bottom of North Street or outside the Royal Pavilion on Pavilion Parade - 5 mins walk from the museum.
