Atelier Beside the Sea is an art gallery, shop and makers workshop situated on Brighton Beach and was established by Jon Tutton and Sarah Young, organisers of the much loved MADE London and MADE Brighton Design and Crafts fairs as well as Brighton Art Fair.
The aim to be the best art gallery in Brighton; a beacon of creativity offering the best in contemporary art and craft to the local community and visitors alike, as well as a home for creative workshops and classes to educate and inspire.
The gallery operates a national and international programme of exhibitions, drawing from the abundantly creative local area, as well as showcasing fresh and original contemporary art, craft and design from across the globe whilst the shop specialises in beautiful and practical handmade work and highlights the individual makers and their processes.
