Thame is one of the most used filming locations for the popular TV show, Midsomer Murders.
The walking tour of the town centre takes in more than 20 filming locations. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you about the locations, the episodes in which they were used and much more fascinating information about the show, its history, its development and the actors appearing regularly. They will also tell you about the history of the market town of Thame, which began 6,000 years ago in the Neolithic period, to its development in the 13th century, its involvement during the Civil War in the 17th century, and much more.
The tours last approximately 90 minutes and cost £10 per person.
They are held -
Each Wednesday between 1st April and 28th October, and
Each Saturday between 6th June and 26th September, all starting at 2pm outside Thame’s iconic Town Hall.

Two thirds of the income from the tours is donated to local charities at the end of each season.
Thame lies on the A418 halfway between Oxford and Aylesbury. It can be reached by the M40 motorway junctions 6 and 7.
Thame is served by the main bus route service 280 between Oxford and Aylesbury, and by train to Haddenham and Thame Parkway station on the Chiltern line between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street.
