Hampshire is set for another exciting year in 2024, with an array of large-scale events and festivals.  Home to a host of food and music festivals, family fun events, and special anniversaries, you're sure to find plenty of exciting events to include Hampshire in your holiday plans.  2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings, the largest seaborne invasion ever, and one that changed the course of history.  There will be a host of anniversary events across the region, both on the 6th June but also throughout the year at The D-Day Story in Portsmouth. Jane Austen House will also be celebrating its 75th anniversary as a museum before the county marks the 250th anniversary of Jane’s birth in 2025.

Grab your calendar and start planning your next visit to Hampshire, here are some of the most popular events happening across the county in 2024 - The Alresford Watercress Festival (19th May 2024), Basingstoke Festival (21st June - 7th July 2024), Farnborough International Airshow (22nd - 26th July 2024), Winchester Hat Fair (30th June - 1st July 2024), Beaulieu Supercar Weekend, Beaulieu (3rd - 4th August), Victorious Festival Portsmouth (23rd - 25th August 2024), International Kite Festival, Portsmouth (27th - 28th July 2024), New Forest & Hampshire Country Show, (30th July - 1st August 2024), Southampton International Boat Show (13th - 22nd September 2024), all filling the Hampshire calendar to bursting.
