Join Alex Polizzi for one of her favourite walks. This route takes you over the Seven Sisters to the village of East Dean and the Tiger Inn for lunch, returning to Alfriston via Friston Forest.
Itinerary:
On Tuesday 29 September, you are invited to The Star. Enjoy a cream tea on arrival, then take the opportunity to explore the pretty village of Alfriston.
After dinner and a night at The Star, on Wednesday 30 September, Alex and the group will drive to Exceat to discover one of Alex's all-time favourite walks. This predominantly coastal full day circular walk takes you over the stunning Seven Sisters, then down to the pretty village of East Dean for lunch at the Tiger Inn, returning via Friston Forest. Most of the route is along of the South Downs Way; the Downs also have ups, making this quite challenging walking at a steady pace, that should not be attempted by anyone with health issues.
The following morning, on Thursday 1 October, guests will depart.
From £1090 (based on two guests sharing a double room) including two nights accommodation, breakfast each morning, a guided walk with Alex, lunch at The Tiger at East Dean, and Dinner at The Star on both evenings
