Taking over the city in a spectacular celebration of creativity, community, and culture, this unforgettable public art trail will see 40 Lions positioned at key locations around the city of Portsmouth as part of the Portsmouth100 celebrations.
Created in association with WildArt for eight weeks, visitors and residents will be able to follow the bespoke trail map on a journey of discovery. Providing a great fun way to explore the city with family and friends and celebrate 100 years since Portsmouth became a city.
The trail will be accessible for eight roaring weeks from the 13 July to 13 September, Portsmouth will come alive with a pride of lion sculptures, each of which has been uniquely designed by talented artists and inspired by the spirit of our vibrant city.
All the designs will go on display at a special public exhibition at Aspex Portsmouth from 12th - 22nd February, before the final designs are selected to adorn the 40 lion sculptures.
