Craft demonstration by Bucks Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers

About

Try hand spinning, hand weaving and natural dyeing for free at our Open Day and discover the history of these heritage crafts.

Bucks Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers invite you to their Open Day this September, as part of the National Trust's annual Heritage Open Days event. This year's theme is Creativity Unwrapped, so come along to find out about, and try your hand at, the historic crafts of weaving, spinning and dyeing.

Activities include demonstrations of natural dyeing, hand spinning and hand weaving throughout the day; opportunities to have a go at these heritage crafts, plus children's trail and craft activities. Also view the exhibition of members' work and historical displays. There will be handmade items for sale and a chance to relax over a cup of tea or coffee and homemade cake.

Sunday 17th September, 11am - 4pm, at Haddenham Village Hall, Banks Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8EE

FREE to attend. Accessible toilets and baby changing. Refreshments for sale. Free parking, venue on bus route between Aylesbury and Oxford stations or 20 min walk from Haddenham & Thame railway station.
