Battle's Scarecrow Competition won't fail to get you smiling. These traditional garden scarecrows radiate from the Abbey Green, find them in shop windows, outside houses and within the planting. They are the perfect complement to Battle's beatufil summer flower displays. You can't find a more idyllic English market town than historic Battle. Watch out for the yarn bombers too!
To celebrate the event's 15th year, this year's theme is 'Top of the Crops'.
The scarecrows act as curtain-raiser for the wonderful Battle Festival.
