The following terms and conditions relates to Win a couple's break to Kent's Creative Isle

Prize Terms & Conditions

• The prize is for two people and must be taken by 31 January 2027
• Entrants must be 18 years old or over. Entry to this competition is free.
• The prize draw is excluded to employees of Tourism South East & employees of Thanet District Council and their family members slon with buisnesses supplying prizes are not eligible to win.  
• Only fully completed registrations will be eligible. 
• Only one entry per household. 
• The closing date for receipt of entries is 11.59pm on Sunday 26th April 2026. Entries after this date will not be included.  A winner will be picked at random and notified by email from Visit Thanet.  The winner will be given 14 days to respond and confirm they are happy to receive their prize. 
• Visit Thanet will supply and co-ordinate all prize elements with the winner
• Prizes are not transferable, no cash alternative is available. No is purchase necessary. 
• The draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• As part of the winner’s terms and conditions, the winners initial, surname and general location will be displayed on https://www.tourismsoutheast.com/competitionwinners.
• The prize excludes: (a) Any form of insurance. (b) Any accommodation extras (eg telephone, mini-bar, room service, etc) (c) Any additional travel costs to, from and around the destination (d) Any personal expenses and spending money, or parking etc will not be covered.
• The overnight package excludes any drinks, dinner accompaniments such as sides and supplements.
• All aspects of the prize are subject to availability
• Tourism South East and its partners may cancel or amend the competition, competition information, or these terms and conditions and prizes without prior notice.
• By ticking the Visit South East England opt in box; entrants agree to receive a regular email with information about visiting the region including offers, places to visit and stay, and further competitions.
• By ticking one of the partner opt in box; entrants agree for their information to shared with that specific partner and to be added to their email database.
• The competition prize is subject to availability. 
• The judge's decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council) General Terms and Conditions

• If any prize or product is lost or damaged during the course of delivery to the recipient, we will provide reasonable assistance in seeking to resolve the problem. However, it will not always be possible to obtain replacements for lost or damaged goods.
• Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council) is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
• Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prizes with others of equivalent value without giving notice.
• Unless otherwise stated, prizes do not include any personal expenditure or other incidental costs other than those agreed by Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council).
• Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council) does not accept responsibility for network, computer, and hardware or software failure of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry.
• Incomplete entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
• Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council) is not responsible for the safety of any person(s) participating in winning experiences.
• Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council) except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from: a) any postponements or cancellations of the competition; b) any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, prizes which do not reach the intended recipient), or use of the prize; c) any act or default of any third party supplier.
• Visit Thanet (Thanet District Council) take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested from us.
• We will only contact you with news and special offers via the preferences you have indicated.  We will never share your information with any third party without your consent.
• By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
• If you also opt-in individually to receive email updates from any third parties associated with this competition, you consent for us to share your data with the parties you have selected and for them to send you promotional emails only in the future. They should give you the option to unsubscribe at any time.
