This Christmas, journey through grand state rooms of Petworth House where creativity and nature come together. Marvel beneath the stars, gaze up at the moon, and discover an enchanting festive experience inspired by the natural world.
Each room glows with wonder: celestial skies, enchanting fairies, roaming woodland creatures, towering trees, and spaces to pause and reflect.
Dog-friendly undercover seating can be found in the Battery House - perfect for picnics. All new Festive Teas and Festive Brunches will be available from the courtyard marquee (pre-booking applies), where there will be additional undercover seating.
The exhibition room will be open for visitors who need a quiet space, and there will be a reading corner amongst the stunning art collection in the North Gallery.
On Saturday 28 November and Saturday 19 December you can experience the festive atmosphere of Petworth House after dark, with sparkling lights and a courtyard choir marking the turning of the season. A chance to enjoy the house's winter transformation in a new light. The House will be open until 6.30pm (last entry at 6pm), with a choir performing at 5.30pm.
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November there will be a Christmas makers market in the Battery House and marquee selling festive food and drink, as well as gifts, held in partnership with Petworth Pop-up.
