Situated within Oxford city boundary and about a mile from Magdalen Bridge in the city centre this substantial, architect designed, 1930's house with its mock Tudor facade, built from timbers from Wroxton Abbey estate, provides an ideal base from which to explore the oldest university city in Britain with its prestigious institutions. Also close by are the River Thames towpath (10 minutes' walk) and Iffley village with its Norman church.
The owners of Wroxton House have endeavoured to retain the interior furnishings and features of a 1930's house while providing modern amenities. The house is comfortable and well equipped with light, spacious rooms, original oak flooring downstairs and an impressive oak staricase. Sleeping up to 6, the accommodation comprises: a drawing room with baby grand piano, dining room with French Windows to the garden, fitted kitchen and upstairs, four bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room.
