Only museum dedicated to the history of the Oxford city. Exciting collection of social history displayed over two floors. Story of Oxford is brought to life through artefacts, room settings and film presentation.
The museum is open to visitors Monday - Saturdays and has been sharing the stories of Oxford and its people for over 50 years. Opened in 1975 the museum highlights the changing story of Oxford, highlighting all types of quirky customs, Morris Motors, patron saints, barges and lots more.
Located in the Grade II listed Oxford Town Hall in the heart of the city, its a great place to understand more about the changing face of Oxford.
